Let yourself be carried away by the world of nature, the tropical sun and prehistoric creatures.

Created for all types of nature lovers, families and individual travelers, the Tarcoles River is home to the largest population of American crocodiles in Central America where some of the crocodiles are well over 18 feet long. The tour offers great opportunities to observe a wide variety of birds, many of which they migrate year after year, in turn we can observe many local residents such as kingfisher, roseate spoonbills, and crustaceans.

An intimate moment with nature

The adventure starts with a path to the bank of the river for about 15 minutes, there you can observe howler monkeys, hummingbirds, mangrove hawks and dozens of crabs, once in the boat will give a small safety talk, then we will start the tour in search of crocodiles.
During the tour on the boat you will be able to experience an intimate moment with crocodiles, iguanas, fast-running basilisks, raccoons trying to wash freshly crabs caught or an osprey that dives fiercely in search of a good catfish or a snook.
