FULL DAY PHOTOGRAPHY
Spend an action-packed day on the Rio Grande de Tarcoles and the tropical rain forest.
Between rural roads and grasslands we will visit some of the best places to take photographs of wildlife. Join a specialized photography naturalist guide who will share his expert knowledge and give tips to help improve your skills.
According to the desired objectives, you can build your experience by choosing 3 of the following environments:
Boat Tour:
We will take you on an unforgettable trip to the riverbed of the Rio Grande de Tarcoles in search of impressive photographs of birds, plants, flowers, crocodiles, insects and, hopefully, some small mammals. This area is famous for being a biodiversity hotspot, so it’s not hard to find amazing photo opportunities.
Fishing area:
We can appreciate the scenic beauty of the place, activities related to artisanal fishing such as the extraction of shellfish from the bottom of the sea in a rustic way or simply make sightings of seabirds or marine mammals.
Carara National Park:
Our experienced guides will help you identify the different species by their shapes and colors, as well as by recognizing their calls. In this destination you will be able to walk the different trails that the park offers including the universal access trail.
Sunset at Pacifico Lodge:
Watching the sunset from the Pacifico Lodge hotel is undoubtedly one of the best things to do in the area. Seeing the sun touch the ocean from miles away from this location is amazing, you can get the best shots.
Botanical Garden:
Bright yellow, red and purple flowers dance in the breeze high in the mountains of our botanical Garden. About 400 species of endemic and exotic plants line the walkways that take guests along the shallow ridges and valleys along the top of the mountain 2,000 feet above Jaco.
The tour will start at our office at 6:00 am from which we will depart to our first destination, our team will kindly give you an induction talk and rules of the activity, in order that you enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Quel beaux concept!
